Beschreibung: The receptors on T cells consist of immunoglobulin like integral membrane glycoproteinscontaining 2 polypeptide subunits, alpha and beta, of similar molecular weight, 40 to 55kD in the human. Like the immunoglobulins of the B cells, each T cell receptor subunithas, external to the cell membrane, an N terminal variable domain and a C terminalconstant domain.T cell receptors recognise foreign antigens which have been processed as smallpeptides and bound to major histocompatibility complex molecules at the surface ofantigen presenting cells. Each T cell receptor is a dimer consisting of one alpha and onebeta chain or one delta and one gamma chain. In a single cell, the T cell receptor lociare rearranged and expressed in the order delta, gamma, beta, and alpha. If both deltaand gamma rearrangements produce functional chains, the cell expresses delta andgamma. If not, the cell proceeds to rearrange the beta and alpha loci.

Spezifität: ABIN255345 is specific for the T-cell receptor V beta 10 gene product.Approximately 4.2% of unseparated LEW lymph node cells were detected by this clone.Reactivity is restricted to alpha/beta T cells, of which 6.7% labelled (1). Species Reactivity: Rat. Not yet tested in other species. Localization: Cell Membrane.
