RT6 catalyzes the hydrolysis of NAD to ADP-ribose and nicotinamide, allelic formsART2a (RT6.1) and ART2b (RT6.2) have differing catalytic specificities. Alternate Names: anti-Ag F1 antibody, anti-Alloantigen Rt6.2 antibody, anti-ART 2 antibody, anti-RT ly2(5) antibody, anti-T cell mono(ADPribosyl)transferase 2 antibody, anti-T cellNAD(P)(+)--arginine ADP ribosyltransferase 2 antibody, anti-T cell surface protein Rt6.2antibody.

Spezifität
|
Recognizes the RT6.1 alloantigen also known as ART2, Pta.A2, and Ag-F1. RT6 isexpressed on most peripheral T cells but not on thymocytes. Clone P4/16 recognizes ratstrains expressing RT6.1 including BUF, LEW, and PVG and will not recognize RT6.2expressing strains such as AUG, BDIX, DA and F344. Species Reactivity: Cross reacts with Rat.
