Produktbeschreibung

Immunogen Luciferase from Photinus pyralis (firefly).
Klon BGN-06-944
Beschreibung Luciferase from the firefly has become one of the more widely used reporter proteins forthe study of gene expression. Luciferase catalyzes a bioluminescent reaction whichrequires the substrate luciferin as well as Mg+2 and ATP. Mixing these reagents with thecell extract containing luciferase, results in a flash of light that decays rapidly. This lightcan be detected by a luminometer. The total light emission is proportional to theluciferase activity of the sample. Alternate Names: anti-Firefly Luciferase antibody, anti-ec 1.13.12.7 antibody, anti-Luciferase antibody,anti-Luciferin 4 monooxygenase antibody.
Spezifität ABIN253914 is specific for luciferase from Photinus pyralis (firefly). Species Reactivity: Firefly. Not yet tested in other species. Localization: Peroxisome.
