Beschreibung: RIL was originally identified as a gene downregulated in H-ras-transformed cells. RILwas mostly expressed in nonmuscle epithelial cells with a pattern distinct from that ofCLP-36. RIL protein was found to localize to actin stress fibers in nonmuscle cellssimilarly to CLP-36. However, RIL expression led to partially abnormal actin filamentsshowing thick irregular stress fibers not seen with CLP-36. The RIL PDZ-LIM protein is aregulator of actin stress fiber turnover. Alternate Names: anti-Enigma homolog antibody, anti-LIM domain protein antibody, anti-Reversioninduced LIM protein antibody.

Spezifität: Species Reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human. Expected to cross-react with Chicken (100% identity withimmunogen), Mouse (100% identity with immunogen) and Rat (100% identity withimmunogen) due to sequence homology. Not yet tested in other species.

Applikationshinweise: This antibody can be used in Western Blot - detects a band of approximately 37 kDa(predicted molecular weight: 35 kDa). Recommended Starting Dilution:*WB: 0.1 - 0.5 ug/ml*

Buffer: Tris saline containing [pH7.3] with 0.5% BSA. Preservative: 0.02% Na azide.
