Beschreibung: Hirudin (P01050) is a highly effective and very specific anticoagulant whichspecifically inhibits formation of fibrin and activation of factors V, VIII and XIII, byforming irreversible, noncovalent 1:1 complexes with alpha-thrombin. Hirudin is a65 amino acid polypeptide, 7 kDa protein, naturally originating from the medicalleech Hirudo medicinalis. It is a very potent thrombin inhibitor. Antibody binding tohirudin inhibits the interaction with alpha-thrombin.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Recommended Dilution 1: 1000 with standard ECL (WB), 1: 1000 (ELISA). Additional Information: the IgY fraction is isolated by a two-step PEG precipitation procedure followed byammonium sulphate precipitation .

Buffer: Total IgY fraction at 18 mg/ml in 0.9% NaCl, 0.1% sodiumazide
