Beschreibung: PGR acts to prepare the uterus for implantation of the fertilized ovum, to maintainpregnancy, and to promote development of the mammary glands. Progesterone receptor, amember of the steroid receptor superfamily, mediates the physiologic effects ofprogesterone.

Spezifität: The antibody Pg. 53 reacts with progesterone (PGR), a steroid hormone secreted by thecorpus luteum of the ovary and by the placenta. PGR plays a central role in the maintenance of pregnancy. Species: Human. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Suitable for ELISA. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Buffer: PBS, pH 7.4 with 15 mM sodium azide as preservative.

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
