Beschreibung: CD74 (the MHC II-associated invariant chain, Ii) is an type II transmembrane proteinexpressed in antigen-presenting cells, that serves as MHC II chaperone which promotesMHC II trafficking from the ER to endocytic compartments, prevents peptide binding in theER and contributes to peptide editing in the MHC II compartment, it is also an accessorysignaling molecule implicated e. g. in malignant B cell proliferation. Stimulation of cellsurface CD74 leads to NFκB activation, which enables entry of the stimulated cell into the Sphase. CD74 binds pro-inflammatory cytokine MIF with high affinity and interacts withCD44. Binding of Vpu, an HIV1 protein, to CD74 modulates MHC II presentation.

Spezifität: The antibody LN2 is specific to CD74. It also reacts with activated neoplastic cells in T celllymphomas, lymph node germinal center, mantle zone B cells, histiocytes, interdigitatingreticulum cells, Langerhans cells, thymic dendritic cells and peripheral blood Blymphocytes. Species: Human. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Buffer: PBS containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative and 0.2% (w/v)high-grade BSA (Protease free) as stabilizer.Label: Conjugated with cross-linked Allophycocyanin (APC) under optimum conditions.

Lagerung: Store the antibody in the dark at 2-8°C. Do Not Freeze! Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
