Immunogen: Keyhole limpet hemocyanin conjugated synthetic human peptide c-erbB-2 oncoprotein.

Spezifität: This antibody reacts with the c-erbB-2 oncoprotein, a 190 kD protein. The proto-oncogene for c-erbB-2 is located on the human chromosome 17, band 21.It has structural similarities to EGFR. Several studies have indicated that c-erbB-2 may be a good indicator of the prognosis of human carcinomas in the breast, ovary, uterus and gastrointestinal tract.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. Although not required, heat treatment with 10 mM Citrate buffer, ph 6.0 may enhance the immunostaining in the overfixed tissues. Positive Control: Breast carcinoma. Konzentration: 1 to 4 ug/ml

Buffer: This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.

Lagerung: Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
