Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from c-terminus of human CD117/c-kit protein.

Spezifität: This antibody reacts with a 145 kD protein. c-kit is a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase. c-kits is expressed in many tissues and cells. c-kits is involved in the development of several lineages of stem cells, such as germ cells, neural crest derived melanocytes and hematopoietic precursor cells. This antibody can be used in the identification of gastrointestinal stromal tumors.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. High temperature treatment of formalin-fixed tissue sections with 1mM EDTA buffer, pH 8.0 must be performed prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane, cytoplasm

Konzentration: 1 to 4 ug/ml

Buffer: This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.

Lagerung: Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
