Beschreibung: Glypican-4, previously known as K-glypican, is a GPI-linked cell surface heparan sulfateproteoglycan of the glypican gene family, that comprises 6 members at present. Itsfunction is only partially understood at present. However, glypican-4 seems to be involvedin the control of cell growth and diffe-rentiation, especially in the development of thecentral nervous system and the kidney. Furthermore, glypican-4 is expressed byhematopoetic stem cells and bone marrow stromal cells.

Spezifität: Specific for a core protein epitope (aa. 220-233) of Glypican-4. Although the antiserum was prepared against a peptide from human Glypican-4, due to thehighly conserved structure and sequence of Glypican-4, it might react also with glypican-4from other species, like Mouse. Species: Human. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blot (1/1000). Immunohistochemistry (1/1000). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Reinigung: Serum

Lagerung: Store lyophilized at 2-8°C and reconstituted at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
