Beschreibung: Endothelins (ET) show potent constrictor activity in vascular and non-vascular smoothmuscle. This family of 21-amino acid peptides exists in at least three isoforms - ET-1, ET-2,and ET-3, and is produced in endothelial and epithelial cells. ET's can mediate biologicaleffects in cells and tissues, and have been shown to bind to an ET receptor in the lung,kidney, heart, and liver. Endothelin 1 is expressed in lung, placental stem villi vessels andin cultured placental vascular smooth muscle cells.

Spezifität: This antobody detects Big Endothelin (aa 1-38) (100 %), Big Endothelin Fragment (aa22-38) (< 98 %), Endothelin 1 (< 1 %), Endothelin 2 (< 1 %), Endothelin 3 (< 1 %),Sarafotoxin (< 1 %), ANP (< 1 %). Species: Human. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: ELISA (1: 10000). Immunohistochemistry on frozen and paraffin sections (1: 10). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Buffer: 0.05 M borate buffer pH 8,5Reconstitution: Restore in 100 µl aqua bidest.

Lagerung: Store lyophilized at 2 - 8 °C and reconstituted at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing andthawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
