Beschreibung
|
CCN1 (CYR61) is an angiogenic factor and a member of the CCN protein family. CCN1 is anextracellular matrix-associated, heparin-binding protein that mediates cell adhesion,promotes cell migration, and enhances growth factor-stimulated cell proliferation. Increased expression of CCN1 is associated with several types of cancer, and correlateswith the progression and estrogen independence of human breast cancers.
