Beschreibung: Atrial natriuretic factor (ANP) is a potent vasoactive substance which is thought to play akey role in cardiovascular homeostasis and has a cGMP stimulating activity. There are twodifferent prepronatriodilatin alleles. One codes for 2 Arginine residues at the C terminusthat are cleaved to form the mature peptide, while the other ends in a termination codonimmediately after the last codon of the mature peptide. ANP belongs to the natriureticpeptide family.

Spezifität: This antibody detects synthetic pro ANP (aa 31-67). There were no cross reactivities obtained with human pro-ANP (aa 67-98) and humanpro-ANP (aa 1-30). Species: Human. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: RIA (1: 2000). ELISA. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Lagerung: Store lyophilized at 2-8°C and reconstituted at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
