Beschreibung: CD3 (Cluster of Differentiation 3) is a complex of proteins that associates directly withthe T cell antigen receptor (TCR) (1). Antigen binding to the TCR leads to IL-2 secretionvia activation of a tyrosine phosphorylation pathway and a phospholipase C (PLC)pathway, in turn activating protein kinase C (1,2). CD3 is composed of five invariantpolypeptide chains that associate to form three dimers. The five invariant chains of CD3are labeled gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, and eta. The zeta chain plays an important rolein coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways (3).Loss of the zeta chain results in the synthesis of unstable TCRs (4). A decrease of CD3zeta has been described in T cells from patients with cancer, lupus and chronicinfectious diseases (5).

Spezifität: A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in the C-terminus of human CD3 zeta wasused as immunogen. Species Reactivity: Cross reacts with Human. Does not react in Mouse or Rat.

Applikationshinweise: Suggested working dilutions: flow cytometry / FACS analysis 1:20,Western Blot 1:500,Immunocytochemistry 1:250 to 1:500

Buffer: 50 mM Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 0.15 M NaCl, 40% Glycerol, and 0.05% BSA. Preservative: 0.01% sodium azide.

Lagerung: Aliquot and store at -20C or -80C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
