Beschreibung
|
CD9 antigen is a glycoprotein expressed on the surface of developing B lymphocytes, platelets, monocytes, eosinophils, basophil, stimulated T lymphocytes and by neuronsand glial cells in the peripheral nervous system. It belongs to a family of membraneproteins termed tetraspanins which transverse the membrane four times. In pre-B cellsand platelets, CD9 antigen regulates cell activation and aggregation possibly through anassociation with the integrin CD41/CD61 (GPIIb/GPIIIa). Alternate Names: anti-BA2 antibody, anti-DRAP27 antibody, anti-Leukocyte antigen MIC3 antibody,anti-MIC3 antibody, anti-Motility related protein antibody, anti-MRP1 antibody, anti-P24antibody, anti-Tetraspanin 29 antibody, anti-Tspan29 antibody.
