Immunogen: Peptide corresponded to a region of the Nestin gene product shared between the rat (AAA41119, NCBI) and human (NP_001966, NCBI) gene products.

Beschreibung: Mouse nestin is a 206,994 dalton protein (1864 amino acids) expressed in neural crest cells, CNS neural stems cells, as well as a few non-neural cell types in the embryo, including cells within the pancreatic islets of Langerhans and the limb bud. Nestin is an intermediate filament-associated protein, and contributes to the cytoskeleton.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunocytochemistry: 1:100 -1:200. Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 -1:200. Western blot: 1:250 -1:500. Dilutions listed as a recommendation. Optimal dilution should be determined by investigator.

Reinheit: Affinity Purified

Buffer: Liquid PBS (pH 7.2; 10 mM; isotonic 0.9%, w/v) with sodium azide (0.02%, w/v).

Lagerung: Store at 4°C in the dark. Under these conditions, the antibody should have a shelf life of at least 12 months (provided they remain sterile). Do not freeze the antibody unless you want to store it for longer periods of time. Note, however, that each time an antibody preparation is frozen, about half its binding activity is lost.
