Beschreibung: Cytokeratin 7 was found to occur in the columnar epithelium of the lung, cervix, breast, bile ducts, larger collection ducts of the kidney and in mesothelium, but is absent from gastrointestinal epithelium, hepatocytes, proximal and distal tubules of the kidney and myoepithelium. Keratin 7 could not be detected in the stratified epithelia of the skin, tongue, oesophagus or cervix but strongly stained urinary bladder transitional epithelium.

Spezifität: Recognizes karatin 7 (54 kD cytokaratin proteins). Species Reactivity: Human, hamster, mouse, and potaroo kangaroo. Positive Control: Glandular epithelium breast The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the researcher.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunohistochemistry - Frozen sections: Working dilution: 1:5 - 1,10 (indirect method, 30 min incubation) Western blot: Working dilution: Undiluted, although lesser amount of antibody could be sufficient.
