Beschreibung
|
SLAM (signaling lymphocyte activation molecule), also known as CDw150, is a transmembrane type I protein present on the surface of T and B cells, and is a self-ligand mediating T and B cell interactions. Absence of an inhibitor (SAP) which blocks recruitment of the signal transduction molecule SHP-2 to a docking site in the SLAM cytoplasmic region is associated with X-linked lymphoproliferative disease.
