Beschreibung: Adipocyctes are highly active cells with potent autocrine, paracrine and endocrine functions. Adiponectin is a serum protein produced and secreted exclusively by adipose tissues. Unlike insulin and leptin, adiponectin levels in plasma remain constant throughout the day and are not acutely affected by food intake.

Spezifität: Reacts with the 30 kDa mouse adiponectin and also cross-reacts to a lesser extent with human and rat adiponectin. Species Reactivity: Mouse, human and rat. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: ELISA: Use at 1 µg/mL Western blot: Use at 1 µg/mL The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the researcher.

Buffer: 50 µg at 0.5 mg/mL in PBS, pH 7.2, containing 1% protein stabilizer, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Lagerung: Store at -20 °C. For long term storage, aliquot and refreeze at -70 °C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
