Beschreibung: Serotonin-positive cells are present in gastric, duodenal, jejunal, ileal, colonic, andappendiceal mucosae. Positive cells are sparse and usually occur in the lower half of thegastric and intestinal mucosae. In the appendix, in addition to the mucosalserotonin-containing cells, there are single or small clusters of serotonin-positive cells inthe sub-epithelial region of the lamina propria.

Spezifität: This antibody reacts with Serotonin-containing cells in a wide range of normal, reactive,and neoplastic tissues. Other endocrine cells, such as those of pancreatic islets andpituitary gland, are negative with this antibody. Cellular Localization: CytoplasmicSpecies Reactivity: Tested: Human.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunohistology (Formalin/Paraffin): 1/20-1/40 for 60 min at RT. Staining offormalin-fixed tissues sections requires treating the tissue sections with Protease XXV at 1mg/ml PBS for 5-10 minutes at 37°C. Positive Control: Appendix. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
