Beschreibung: Glutamyltransferase (gGT) from human kidney is a membrane-bound enzyme that transfersthe gamma-glutamly moiety of gammaglutamyl compounds such as glutathione to anacceptor, which may be an amino acid or a di- or tripeptide or water. The principalfunctions of gGT may be hydrolysis and metabolism of glutathione. Various human gGTisoforms have been found. The molecular mass of gGT for normal kidney is 90 kDa and gGTcan be used as a renal cell marker.

Spezifität: This antibody detects Glutamyl Transferase gamma. Species: Human. Does not react with Pig and Cow. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Flow Cytometry. Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistology (Frozen only). Western Blotting. Positive Control: CaKi renal tumor cells. Renal cell carcinoma or kidney. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Konzentration: 0.2 mg/ml

Buffer: 10 mM PBS, pH 7.4, with 0.2 % BSA and 0.09 % sodium azide.

Lagerung: Store the antibody at 2 - 8 °C up to one month or in aliquots at -20 °C for longer. Avoidrepeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
