Beschreibung: Ab-5 reacts with all six known vertebrate isoforms of actin (MW~42kDa). It also reacts withtwo cytoplasmic actins (β, γ) which are highly homologous to one another but which differfrom the muscle actins at about 25 amino acid residues. Ab-5 is highly recommended formonitoring total protein load on Western blots.

Spezifität: This antibody detects Actin, pan Ab-5. Species: Human, Cow, Mouse, Dog, Pig, Rabbit, Rat Chicken, Dictyostelium discoideum,Physarum polycephalum. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunoprecipitation: 2 µg/ml protein lysate. Western Blot: 0,5 µg/ml for 2hrs at RT. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: 1/50 for 30min with LV's Ultra Vision, requiresboiling tissue serctions in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6,0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling atRT for 20min. Positive Control: CytoplasmicOther applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Konzentration: 0.2 mg/ml

Buffer: 10mM PBS, pH 7,4 containing 0,2/ BSA and 15mM sodium azide.

Lagerung: Store the antibody at 2 - 8 °C up to one month or in aliquots at -20 °C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
