Beschreibung: NF-kappaB/p50 (nuclear factor kappa light chain enhancer in B cells p50, NF-kappaB1) is a member of the Rel/dorsal family. This ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein is one subunit of the NF-kappa B complex consisting of a 65 kD transactivating subunit and a 50 kD DNA binding subunit. Both subunits are derived from larger precursor proteins. NF-kappaB acts as a transcriptional activator and was originally identified as an activator of kappa light chain in B cells. NF-kappaB/p50 is bound (with p65) to IkappaB inhibitor in cytoplasm in inactive form. Phosphorylation of IkappaB releases and NF-kappaB which goes to the nucleus to activate gene expression. NF-kappaB can be activated with LPS, TNF-alpha, phorbol ester, or IL-1. The 4D1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human NF-kappaB p50 and has been shown to be useful for Western blotting. Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: For immunofluorescent staining applications, a concentration range of 1-4 µg/ml is recommended. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Reinigung: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with FITC under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated FITC.

Buffer: This antibody is provided in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. Final antibody concentration is 0.5 mg/ml.

Lagerung: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
