Beschreibung Modulator of cell proliferation, motility, differentiation, angiogenesis, affinity for heparin, associated with ECM Brain, retina, pituitary, kidney, placenta, testis, corpus luteum, adrenal glands, monocytes, prostate, bone, liver, cartilage, endothelial cells, epithelial cells Fibroblast growth factor-basic (FGF-b, FGF-2) is a heparin-binding growth factor which stimulates the proliferation of a wide variety of cells including mesenchymal, neuroectodermal and endothelial cells. FGF-basic also exerts a potent angiogenic activity in vivo. FGF-basic has been isolated from neural, pituitary, adrenal cortex, and placental tissues. The JKFb-1 antibody reacts with human fibroblast growth factor - basic (FGF-basic). Synonyms: Fibroblast Growth Factor-basic, bFGF, FGF-2, Heparin-binding growth factor Regulation: Released after tissue injuries and during inflammatory processes Structure: FGF, 17.2 kD (Mammalian)

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise ELISA or ELISPOT Capture: The purified JKFb-1 antibody is useful as the capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA or ELISPOT assay, when used in conjunction with the biotinylated JKFb-2 antibody (ABIN160578) as the detecting antibody. The LEAF(TM) purified antibody is suggested for ELISPOT capture. Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunohistochemical staining of paraformaldehyde-fixed, saponin-treated frozen tissue sections. Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by ELISA assay. For ELISA capture applications, a concentration range of 4-8 µg/ml is recommended. To obtain a linear standard curve, serial dilutions of human FGF-basic protein ranging from 4000 to 30 pg/ml are recommended for each ELISA plate. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Reinheit LEAF
Reinigung The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing no preservative. 0.2 µm filter sterilized. Endotoxin level is < 0.1 EU/µg of the protein (< 0.01 ng/µg of the protein) as determined by the LAL test.
Lagerung The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C. This LEAF(TM) solution contains no preservative, handle under aseptic conditions.
Forschungsgebiet Wachstumsfaktoren
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
