Beschreibung CD180 is a 105 kD type I membrane protein, also known as RP105 or Ly64. It is a member of the toll-like receptor family consisting of an extracellular leucine-rich repeat (LRR) and a short cytoplasmic tail. It is expressed on most B cells, monocytes/macrophages, and dendritic cells. CD180 associates with MD-1 to form the RP105/MD-1 surface receptor. CD180/MD-1, by working in concert with TLR4, controls B cell recognition and signalling of bacterial LPS. The ligation of RP105 by RP/14 leads to a strong B cell proliferative response, as well as protection from apoptosis induced by radiation or dexamethasone. Interestingly, in some systems, ligation of RP105 leads to Fas-independent apoptosis. Distribution: B cells, monocytes/macrophages, and dendritic cells Function: Signaling protein involved in innate immunity Synonyms: CD180, Radio-protective 105-kD protein, RP105 Structure: Member of the toll-like receptor family, 105 kD

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunoprecipitation, B cell activation, protection of B cells from apoptosis induced by radiation or dexamethasone and induction of Fas-independent apoptosis. The LEAF(TM) purified antibody (Endotoxin <0.1 EU/µg, Azide-Free, 0.2 µm sterile-filtered) is recommended for functional assays (ABIN156941). Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is < 1.0 µg per 10 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Reinheit LEAF
Reinigung The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing no preservative. 0.2 µm filter sterilized. Endotoxin level is < 0.1 EU/µg of the protein (< 0.01 ng/µg of the protein) as determined by the LAL test.
Lagerung The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C. This LEAF(TM) solution contains no preservative, handle under aseptic conditions.
Forschungsgebiet CD Antigene
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
