Beschreibung: Members of Y-box binding protein family all contain a DNA binding domain, called the cold shock domain, of 80-amino-acid residues, which is highly conserved from prokaryotes to eukaryotes. A member of Y-box family, dbpA, was identified as the protein binding to the epidermal growth factor receptor enhancer or c-erbB-2 promoter.
