| Beschreibung | Aflatoxin is a naturally occurring mycotoxin produced by two types of mold: Aspergillusflavus and Aspergillus parasiticus. Aspergillus flavus is common and widespread innature and is most often found when certain grains are grown under stressful conditionssuch as drought. At least 13 different types of aflatoxin are produced in nature withaflatoxin B1 considered as the most toxic. Aflatoxin B1 exposure may be a potentialetiological agent in hepatocellular carcinoma. Alternate Names: Anti-AFB1 antibody, Anti-AFB1-AR1 antibody, Anti-Aldoketoreductase 7 antibody. |
| Spezifität | This antibody is specific for Aflatoxin B1. Species Reactivity: All species. There is no cross-reactivity with other carcinogen-DNA adducts. Localization: Nuclear. |
