Immunogen: A synthetic peptide which maps to a region between residues 850 and the C-terminus(residue 894) of human B-cell CLL/lymphoma 11B using the numbering given inSwiss-Prot entry Q9C0K0 (GeneID 64919).

Beschreibung: This gene encodes a C2H2-type zinc finger protein and is closely related to BCL11A, agene whose translocation may be associated with B-cell malignancies. The specificfunction of this gene has not yet been determined. Two alternatively spliced transcriptvariants, which encode distinct isoforms, have been reported. Alternate Names: anti-BCL11A antibody, anti-B-cell CLL/Lymphoma 11A antibody, anti-EVI9 antibody,anti-bcl11b antibody, anti-bcl 11b antibody.

Spezifität: ABIN153204 is specific for human Bcl-11b protein. Species Reactivity: Human. Other species not tested. Reactivity with mouse Bcl11b is expected owing tocomplete identity between this ortholog and human Bcl11b at the site to which theepitope maps.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.Prepare working dilution immediately before use. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows. Western Blot: 1:5,000 - 1:15,000, Immunoprecipitation: 1 to 5 ug/mg lysate Histo/Cytochemistry: not tested*In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.

Buffer: 0.1 ml of affinity purified rabbit sera in a Tris-citrate/phosphate (pH 7-8) buffer with 0.1%sodium azide.

Detection of Human Bcl11b by Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Samples: Nuclear extract (5 and 50 mcg for WB, 1 mg for IP) from Jurkat cells. Antibodies: ABIN153204 used at 0.1 mcg/ml (A) and 0.5 mcg/ml (B) for WB and at 1 and 10 mcg/mg lysate for IP (B). Bcl11b was also immunoprecipitated using affinity purified rabbit anti-Bcl11b antibodies ABIN153202 and ABIN153203 at 1 and 10 mcg/mg lysate. Normal rabbit IgG was used as a control for immunoprecipitation reactions. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 1 minute (A), 1 second (B) or 30 seconds (B).
