Beschreibung NuMA (nuclear mitotic apparatus) is a long coil-coiled protein that plays a role in theinterphase and mitosis phases of a cell cycle. In interphase, it has been hypothesizedto play a structural role in the nucleoskeleton that may be important in nuclearorganization and functions. During mitosis, it is associated with spindle microtubuleorganization and chromosome positioning. Therefore, this antibody is useful as a cellcycle marker. Alternate Names: anti-Nuclear Mitotic Apparatus Protein antibody, anti-NUMA 1 antibody, anti-NUMA1antibody, anti-SP H antigen antibody, anti-SP-H antibody, anti-Structural nuclear proteinantibody.
Spezifität This antibody is specific for NuMA. Species Reactivity: Reactive to most mammalian species tested.
