Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung LIPG (C-term)
Gen-ID 9388, 16890
Swiss-Prot Q9Y5X9
Immunogen A C-terminal synthetic peptide made to the human endothelial lipase protein sequence.
Beschreibung Endothelial lipase (EL) is a novel member of the lipoprotein lipase gene family. It issynthesized by endothelial cells and functions at the site of synthesis. EL most likelyplays a physiological role in modulating lipoprotein metabolism. Overexpressed EL hasbeen shown to reduce HDL cholesterol levels, whereas an EL deficiency appears to beeffective in elevating HDL cholesterol levels in animals. Alternate Names: Anti-EDL antibody, Anti-EL antibody Endothelial cell-derived lipase antibody, Anti-Endothelial lipase precursor antibody,Anti-lipase endothelial antibody, Anti-LIPG antibody. Related Diseases: Obesity, Atherosclerosis
Spezifität This antibody is specific for human endothelial lipase. Species Reactivity: This antibody recognizes human endothelial lipase. It does not appear to recognizemurine endothelial lipase. Other species have not been tested. Localization: Secreted.
