Somatostatin is a tetradecapeptide that is widely distributed in the body. It acts onmultiple organs in the body and also functions as a neuropeptide affecting electricalactivity of neurons. Somatostatin Receptor 2 (SSR2), along with SSR1, is expressed atthe highest levels in the stomach and jejunum, cerebrum and kidney, respectively. Alternate Names: Anti-Somatostatin receptor type 2 antibody, Anti-SRIF 1 antibody, Anti-SRIF1 antibody,Anti-SS 2R antibody, Anti-SS2R antibody, Anti-SST R2 antibody, Anti-SSTR2 antibody.
