Beschreibung
|
Manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD) is a primary antioxidant enzyme. Itsexpression is essential for life in oxygen. MnSOD had tumor suppressor activity in awide variety of tumors and transformed cell systems. Alternate Names: anti-IPO B antibody, anti-Manganese SOD antibody, anti-Manganese superoxidedismutase antibody, anti-SOD-2 antibody, anti-Superoxide dismutase [Mn] mitochondrialprecursor antibody, anti-Superoxide dismutase 2 mitochondrial antibody,anti-Superoxide Dismutase 2 antibody.

Spezifität
|
This antibody is specific for MnSOD. Species Reactivity: ABIN152304 recognizes rat MnSOD. Other species have not been tested. Reactivitywith human is expected owing to the use of a peptide that corresponds to humanMnSOD for antibody production. Reactivity with mouse is likely due to the conservationof sequence between the immunogen and the mouse ortholog.
