Its expression is essential for life in oxygen. MnSOD had tumorsuppressor activity in a wide variety of tumors and transformed cell systems.

Spezifität: These antibodies are specific for MnSOD. Species Reactivity: Rat MnSOD. Other species have not been tested. Reactivity with human is expectedowing to the use of a peptide that corresponds to human MnSOD for antibodyproduction. Reactivity with mouse is likely due to the conservation of sequence betweenthe immunogen and the mouse ortholog.
