Beschreibung
|
In mammals, S Adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase (SAH3 / AdoHcyase) catalyzes the hydrolysis of S adenosylhomocysteine to form adenosine and homocysteine. AdoHcy is the product of all adenosylmethionine (AdoMet) dependent biological Transmethylations. These reactions have a wide range of products, and are common in all facets of biometabolism. As a product inhibitor, elevated levels of AdoHcy suppress AdoMet dependent transmethylations. Thus, SAH3 is a regulator of biological transmethylation.

IP: 1-4 mcg/mg of lysate. WB: Use at a dilution of 1/1000-1/10000. Detects a band of approximately 70-80 kDa. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
