Beschreibung XRCC3 Belongs to the recA family (RAD51 subfamily) and it is involved in the homologous recombination repair (HRR) pathway of double-stranded DNA. XRCC3 is thought to repair chromosomal fragmentation, translocations and deletions. It is usually present in a complex consisting of RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D, XRCC2 and XRCC3 and interacts directly with RAD51C and RAD51.
