Beschreibung: 14-3-3 proteins are highly conserved ubiquitous proteins and are expressed in broad range of tissues and cell types. There are at least seven mammalian 14-3-3 isoforms, named a-. , that form homo- and heterodimer. 14-3-3 proteins bind to variety proteins and play important roles in signal transduction and progression through cell cycle. For example, several kinases including Raf, PKC, c-Bcr and PI3-kinase bind to 14-3-3, and as a consequence may have their kinase activity altered by this binding depending on the experimental conditions used.

Spezifität: This antibody reacts with recombinant 14-3-3 ß , e and . on Western blotting. This antibody detects 30 KD of human 14-3-3 on Western blotting with total cell lysate from HeLa cell. This antibody also reacts with mouse and rat 14-3-3 on western blotting with mouse and rat brain extract respectively.
