Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | Syntaxin-1 |
| Immunogen | This antibody was purified from hybridoma (clone HPC-1) supernatant using protein A agarose beads. This hybridoma was established by fusion of mouse myeloma cell NS1 with Balb/c mouse splenocyte immunized with a synaptosomal plasma membrane fraction from adult rat hippocampus. |
| Isotyp | IgG1 (Passende Sekundärantikörper) |
| Klon | HPC-1-STX-01 |
| Beschreibung | Syntaxin 1, also known as HPC-1, is a 35 kDa integral membrane protein that is abundantly expressed in neurons and neuroendocrine cells. Syntaxin is essential for synaptic vesicle fusion and it interacts with several other proteins important for synaptic function, including its partners in the fusion complex (Synaptobrevin/VAMP, SNAP-25, a-SNAP, synaptotagmin, Munc-18/n-Sec1, and Ca2+ - channels). Syntaxin is concentrated in synapses and synaptic vesicles where it is a component of the SNARE complex. |
| Spezifität | This antibody reacts with 35 kDa membrane protein syntaxin-1, expressed predominantly in neuronal tissues on Western blotting. |
