HTR2C is one of several different receptors for 5- hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone that functions as a neurotransmitter, a hormone, and a mitogen. This receptor mediates its action by association with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.

Applikationshinweise
|
The antibody can be used in Western blotting (1-4 µg/ml). The optimal concentrations should be determined individually. A ~52 kDa band should be detected.
