Immunogen: This Protein A purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeatedimmunizations with a synthetic construct consisting of full length Human Cyclin L1 beta protein.

Beschreibung: Cyclin L (also referred to as CCNL) isencoded by two highly related genes Cyclin L1 and CyclinL2 (CCNL1 and CCNL2, respectively). Cyclin L has beenshown to associate with the PITSLRE kinase and isinvolved in pre-mRNA processing. Both Cyclin L geneproducts can be alternatively spliced to produce twoisoforms (known as 1 and 2 or alpha and beta). Cyclin L2 isubiquitous, expressed at much higher levels than Cyclin L1,and thus is likely the major partner for the CDK11p110protein kinase.

Spezifität: The product was purified from monospecific antiserum by Protein A chromatography. Thisantibody will react with all forms of Cyclin L beta (cyclin L1 beta and cyclin L2 beta ). Western blot using antibodies-online's Protein A Purified anti-Cyclin L1/L2beta antibody shows detection of a band ~35 kDa corresponding to Cyclin L beta (arrowhead) present in mouse brain whole cell lysate (800 nm channel - green). Marker proteins appear red (700 nm channel) and were used for molecular weight comparisons. Approximately 35 ug of lysate was separated by 4-20% SDS-PAGE followed by transfer to nitrocellulose. After blocking the membrane was probed with the primary antibody diluted to 1:2,500 for 2h at room temperature followed by washes and reaction with a 1:10,000 dilution of IRDye

Immunohistochemistry. antibodies-online's Affinity Purified anti- Cyclin L1/L2 (isoform 2) antibody was used at a 10 ug/ml to detect cyclin L in a variety of tissues including breast, kidney, liver, lung, skeletal muscle, pancreas, prostate and spleen.
