Beschreibung: AND-1 (WDHD1) is a nuclear and nucleolar protein that contains multiple WD40 repeats,and one HMG region. AND-1 (WDHD1) has a predicted molecular weight of 126 kD and canform homodimers. WDHD1 is expressed in the brain, epidermis, liver, and stomach. Duringmitosis, AND-1 (WDHD1) is transiently expressed in nucleoplasm. AND-1 (WDHD1) can bindto DNA with high affinity and may be involved in protein-protein interactions. The role ofAND-1 (WDHD1) is thought to be in chromatin assembly, transcription and DNA replication. AND-1 (WDHD1) has been reported to be phosphorylated on S1041.

Spezifität: The antibody recognizes a 125 kD Nucleoplasmic Protein AND1. Immunolocalization studies showed a dispersed, finely granular distribution patternthroughout the nucleoplasm. Species Reactivity: Tested: Xenopus laevis, Xenopus borealis. Does not react with other higher Vertebrates.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunofluorescence Microscopy. Immunoblotting: 1/3000 (ECL method). Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections: 1/300-1/500 (Fixation with Paraformaldehydeis recommended). Incubation Time: 1 h at RT. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Shelf life: one year from despatch.
