Immunogen: The monoclonal antibody was raised against the N-terminal sequence ARGSVIL.

Format: Affinity-purified

Beschreibung: The monoclonal antibody was raised against the N-terminal sequence ARGSVIL and purified by affinity chromatography on protein A. Purified antibody in 100 µl phosphate buffered saline (20 mM Na-phosphate, pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.01 % thimerosal.

Spezifität: The antibody reacts with the N-terminal sequence ARGSVIL of aggrecan fragments produced by proteolysis at the aggrecanase site within the interglobular domain of aggrecan (aggrecan-IGD). It does not react to a significant extent with the sequence ARGSVIL contained within uncleaved polypeptide chains. ARGSVIL-peptides produced from recombinant aggrecan - IGD in the presence of aggrecanases bind strongly to the antibody both in Western Blots and in ELISA.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western-Blotting with ECL-Detection, suggested antibody dilution: 1: 2000

Lagerung: The antibody is stable until the expiration date given on the label date when stored at -70 °C. After thawing it can be kept at 2-8 °C for more than 3 months. Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided.
