Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 46-66 of the human Bcl-X protein.

Format: Ig-fraction, Purified

Spezifität: This antibody reacts with a ~27 kD protein. Bcl-X is a member of the bcl-2 family of proteins, which function as regulators of apoptosis. Bcl-X has two isomers, Bcl-XL (long) a 241 amino acids protein and Bcl-Xs (short) a 178 amino acid protein lacking 63 amino acid domain that is well conserved among members of the bcl-2 family. This antibody crossreacts with mouse.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Hodgkins lymphoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic, cell/nuclear membrane

Buffer: Purified immunoglobulin fraction of rabbit antiserum against Bcl-X containing sodium azide as preservative.
