Spezifität: This antibody recognizes a 48 kD protein. Plasminogen Activation Inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1) inhibits the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin. It is the principal inhibitor of plasminogen activators t-PA and uPA. PAI-1 is structurally related to the serine protease inhibitor superfamily. PAI-1 protein is overexpressed in a number of malignancies including ovarian cancers and derived cell lines, endometrial cancers, cervical cancer, malignant brain cancers and nasopharyngeal carcinomas.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:10-1:25 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Positive Control: Breast or Ovarian carcinoma.
