Spezifität
This antibody is specific to a 52 kD intermediate filament protein in brain and spinal cord. It stains astrocytes and CNS ependymal cells but does not stain oligodendrocytes or neurons. This antibody does not cross react with any other intermediate filament proteins. However, it cross reacts with GFAP from mouse and rabbit.

Applikationshinweise
Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Suitable for formalin/paraffin tissues. Positive Control: Brain. Cellular localization: Cytoplasm
