Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung Tumor Supressor Protein p53
Format Liquid
Beschreibung P53 was identified as a tumor suppressor by showing to block the transformation and to inhibit tumor cell growth. In addition, this protein is a transcription factor capable of regulating the expression of a subset of downstream genes. Different mutations in p53 gene have been characterized in a variety of human cancers. Loss or mutation of p53 function is highly correlated with tumorigenesis. alpha-p53 is an affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the recombinant p53 protein.
Spezifität Alpha-p53 reacts with the p53 protein in HeLa nuclear extract by Western blotting.
