Beschreibung: The G protein family of signal transducers includes the alpha, beta, gamma subunits andthe effector which are most clearly distinguished by their different alpha chains. The familyalso includes Gs and Gi, the stimulatory and inhibitory GTP-binding regulators of adenylatecyclase, Go, a protein of unknown function that is abundantly expressed in brain, andtransducin 1 and 2, proteins involved in retinal phototransduction. The G proteins possessGTPase activity and are components of a complex membrane signaling system thatincludes membrane-bound receptors. The system exists to modulate extracellular signalsas they are transmitted into the cell.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western Blot: 1 ug/ml, this antibody detects an ~38 kDa protein representing G proteinalpha inhibitor 1/2 from HeLa cell lysate. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Konzentration: 1.0 mg/ml

Buffer: PBS containing 1 mg/ml BSA as stabilizer and 0.05% sodium azide aspreservative.

Lagerung: Store the antibody at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
