Beschreibung
|
ACTH occurs in cells of the anterior pituitary and in neurons in brain. It regulates thecorticosteroid production in the adrenal cortex. Beta endorphin and Met enkephalin areendogenous opiates. MSH (melanocyte stimulating hormone) increases the pigmentationof skin by increasing melanin production in melanocytes.
