Produktbeschreibung

Produktmerkmale Synonyms: AAV2
Immunogen Adeno-associated virus capsid proteins and virus particles
Isotyp IgG3  (Passende Sekundärantikörper)
Klon A20
Spezifität For characterization of different stages of infection and very useful for the analysis of theAAV assembly process. A20 specifically reacts with intact adeno-associated virus particles, empty and full capsids. Recognizes a conformational epitope of assembled capsids, notpresent in denatured capsid proteins and native but unassembled capsid proteins. Theantibody cannot be used for immunoblotting. Epitope mapping experiments (Wobus et al. ,see below) identified four immunoreactive (discontinous) regions. The major reaction wasattributed to sequence aa 369 to aa378 of AAV-2 capsids. The antibody is also useful forneutralizing experiments (cf. Moskalenko et. al).

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise Immunofluorescence microscopy: 1: 20, Overnight at 2-8C. Immunohistochemistry: Overnight at 2-8C. Immunoprecipitation: 1: 5. Neutralization assay. Affinity chromatography. ELISA. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Buffer PBS or Tris-buffered saline contains 0.09% sodium azide and 0.5% BSAReconstitution: Restore with 1 ml dist. water
Lagerung Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Shelf life: one year from despatch.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
