Beschreibung: Angiostatin is a 38 kDa internal proteolytic fragment of plasminogen, containing at leastthree Kringle domains. The Kringle domains have specific anti-migratory andanti-proliferative activities. Angiostatin, an endogenous angiogenesis inhibitor, inhibitsendothelial cell proliferation in vitro and angiogenesis in vivo. It is a potent and specificnatural inhibitor of angiogenisis and metastatic tumor growth.

Spezifität: This antibody binds recombinant human angiostatin and human plasminogen, specificallykringle 1-3 and kringle 1-4 in solid-phase and solution-phase ELISA. It does not bindisolated plasminogen kringle fragment 4 or isolated plasminogen kringle fragment 5. This antibody binds human plasminogen and recombinant angiostatin in immunoblottingprocedures.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Suitable for Western blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Buffer: 10 mM Sodium Phosphate, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 7.4 containing 0.01% sodiumazide as preservative.Reconstitution: Reconstitute with distilled water.

Lagerung: Store lyophilized (preferably in a desiccator) at 2-8°C and reconstituted (in aliquots) at-20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
