Spezifität: This antibody reacts with a 50 KD (TRalpha1) and 60 kD (TRalpha1) proteins. It does not react with beta isotype. Thyroid hormone receptors (TR) are ligand dependent members of the steroid/retinoic acid superfamily of transcription factors. The two genes encoding TRs identified to date, TRalpha and TRbeta, have been mapped to human chromosomes 17 and 3, respectively. This antibody cross reacts with mouse, rat and pig.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the end user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Colon carcinoma.
